OnePlus's most awaited mid range smartphone Nord has been launched in India. It was expected that the price of the phone would be less than Rs 25,000. It has been launched in India at an initial price of Rs 24,999. The base 6GB RAM + 64GB variant of the phone has been priced at Rs 24,999. At the same time, the phone's 8GB RAM + 128GB variant costs Rs 27,999. The most high end model of the phone is priced at Rs 29,999 which comes with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. OnePlus Nord will compete directly with smartphones from Realme, Vivo, OPPO, Xioami.
Along with OnePlus Nord, the company has also launched its True Wireless earbuds OnePlus Buds. It has been launched in India at a price of Rs 4,990. Users will have to wait for the base model of OnePlus Nord. Its sale will be held in September. At the same time, the other two models of the phone will be made available for sale from August 4. This smartphone and earbuds can be purchased from exclusive stores of OnePlus apart from e-commerce website Amazon.

OnePlus Nord's entry into the mid-segment has created a challenge for other smartphone brands in the Indian market. OnePlus Nord is the first smartphone to be launched in India with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G chipset. Not only this, the company has also challenged other brands to launch their True Wireless earbuds at a price of Rs 4,990.

Talking about the features of OnePlus Nord, it comes with a 6.44-inch AMOLED display panel. The phone has a 90Hz refresh rate display. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 has been provided for protection of the display in the phone. The phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset processor. The phone comes with UFS 2.1 storage and up to 12GB of RAM support. The phone has a punch-hole display panel. Quad rear camera set-up is given in the back of the phone.
To give power to the phone, a battery of 4,115mAh has been provided. The phone comes with 30T warp charging feature. OnePlus Nord runs on Oxygen OS based on Android 10. Talking about camera specifications, a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor has been given in its back. Apart from this, it has an 8MP ultra wide sensor, 5MP depth sensor and 2MP macro sensor. The phone has a dual punch-hole camera for selfie, whose primary sensor has been given 32MP. At the same time, the phone has an 8MP secondary sensor, which is an ultra wide angle camera. The phone will be available in two color options Black and Blue.
Along with OnePlus Nord, the company has also launched its first true wireless earbuds OnePlus Buds in the Indian market. The look and design of this wireless earbuds matches the Apple AirPods to a large extent and comes with a half in-year buds design. It has a dynamic audio driver of 13.4mm. It comes with earbuds active noise cancellation feature. According to the company's claim, it can be played for 10 hours of music on a single charge. Total play time of this earbuds is given 30 hours.
