Xiaomi launches Mi TV Stick, will be able to make common LCD / LED TVs smart

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has launched its Fire TV Steak Mi TV Stick. Through this TV steak running on Android TV platform, any common LCD or LED TV can be converted into a smart TV. Through this fire stick, OTT platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, ZEE5, HotStar will be accessible. Also, Google Assistance feature has also been given in this Fire TV Steak. Xiaomi has introduced this Fire TV Steak in the European market with its smartphones and other devices.

The look and design of the Mi TV Stick is largely similar to that of Airtel and Amazon's Fire TV Steak. It can be connected to LCD or LED TV via HDMI port. Additionally, it also supports Dolvi Atmus and DTS sound formats. It has been launched in the European market at a price of 39.99 euros (about Rs. 3,400). It is available in 1080p HD format with black color option. However, it is not clear when it will be launched in India.

The Mi TV Stick comes with a quad core processor and 1GB of RAM. It has 8GB of internal storage. Through this, HD quality video can be supported at 60fps, which has a resolution of 1,080 x 1,920 pixels. However, these days the UHD / 4K format is quite popular. This Fire Steak comes with pre-installed Netflix and Amazon Prime Video apps. In addition, it has also provided Bluetooth remote and Google Assistance feature. It can also be controlled through voice commands.
