Microsoft is planning to buy TikTok, may soon get a deal

Short video making and sharing app TikTok has been facing troubles for a long time. Recently, the Indian government had banned a total of 59 apps, including TikTok, keeping in mind the privacy of users. After India, now many countries of the world are preparing to ban TikTok. In a report that has been revealed, after India, this app can be banned in the US and in such a situation, Microsoft is now planning to buy TikTok.

Since TikTok's ban in India, US President Donald and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have repeatedly given statements about TikTok that it may soon be banned in the US. The New York Times report states that TikTok will soon divest from its parent company ByteDance. Because the American company wants to buy Microsoft TikTok. After which TikTok will become an American app rather than Chinese. 

Earlier reports also said that US President Donald Trump's plan is to sell TikTok's parent company ByteDance to its ownership and now it is reported that Microsoft may buy TikTok's ownership. The deal between Microsoft and TikTok is expected to be finalized by Monday i.e. August 3. After which ByteDance and Microsoft will announce the deal. 

By the way, 59 Chinese apps have been banned in India and the US President welcomed this step of India. Along with this, they are also thinking about banning TikTok in America keeping privacy in mind. Talking about the popularity of TikTok, in the year 2019, 60 percent of India's market was occupied by Chinese apps. The Tiktok app alone garnered 300 million downloads.
